This series of charcoal drawings and oil paintings revolves around an unusually shaped house owned by the former postman of Castelnau de Montmiral. In three of the charcoal drawings I have left and developed some of the construction lines which provide a clear example of the link between my figurative and non-figurative interests. Less obvious is the fact that the three oil paintings were created in the studio as explorations of alternative color dynamics.
