Sarah Elliott

In the Spring of 2017, while still continuing my earlier projects, I began to explore a disparate range of new possibilities in over 50 charcoal and chalk pastel studies. In early 2018, I took advantage of my residency at Draw International in Caylus, France to move forward from these starting points. During this time I felt my direction was becoming more coherent. After several hundred further studies, I am now moving onto larger paintings.
